Front door tint..35% / 25% / 20%

it actually isn't that dark in person. I think it's perfect. Plus I was next to cops at traffic lights and they never give me any problems.

It depends on your interior color. My front is 20% to match but it looks darker than that because my interior is blacked out and I have a black suede headliner. I finally got my first tint ticket ever last week. Driving slowly in the pouring rain in traffic when I see blue lights. Of course it's a young rookie cop who has his tint meter in hand. Asks me if I can even see out of my car and if I've ever been written a tint ticket. I say no and he seems surprised and proceeds to write the ticket. Of course in pulling me over, he ignored the guy right in front of me who ran the red light. Then after picking up my son from school, I come back down the road the other way not even 5 minutes later and he has someone else pulled over. Must have been trying to hit his quota.

Oh well, that's the price of having stuff out of compliance. I actually was pulled over last year and the officer checked the tint and told me it was illegal, but it was above his "personal" limit for a ticket so he let me go after checking my license. Win some lose some.

Just had my tinted last week, and had them measure the factory back tint. 20% is what he said would match up pretty good, without going too dark. Also got the strip on the front windshield, and with the black interior, it looks perfect! Never had an issue with window tint here in Tennessee, but it does depend on what else I am doing. Obeying the law and not causing a scene, not a problem. Acting like a fool, and driving like one.. Would probably be an issue. If I ever feel like I could be a target for having tint too dark, opening the sunroof helps, especially if it's sunny outside. Hope that helps! Thank you! :)

Yeah matching the windows is great & all but then in the end is all about wether your into the gamble of being lucky enough not to get tickets & surcharges or not ever being pulled over. Only prople i usually see matching them up around here are cops in their personal vehicles & once again gamblers lol.

I have mine at 5% and have only gotten pulled over once...1 block from my house. HOWEVER, I am law enforcement so it will never be a problem. As Themechanic mentioned, opening the sunroof definitely hellps
