So the mod bug finally bit me and im slowly doing some updates to the FX...first one:
Bought a pair of extra FX 20's and had them powdercoated a couple weeks back and finally got around to showing some pics
let me know what you guys think :smile:
also got some new tires...im runnin 285/50/20 now

Wheels look good! I learned that useing soapy water and a good wash mit is the best way to clean powder coated wheels. They scratch veryyyyy easy. Oh tire shine is a bich to get off. I use that sponge thats curved for the tires to put tire shine on.

Looks good :ninja: Can't wait to see it in person. I'm pretty sure that once the Chi meet is on, that mod bug is going to bite even harder.
 
Hey, the wheel looks good. Wow, didn't know powder coated wheel needs all the "special" care. I guess I will get my oe painted instead for my winter setup.

Yea, i gave them a good wash for the first time the other day. I was soo careful lol. I also bought some "wheel wax" off ebay i think ill try to put that on after the next wash. Thanks for the tips :tup:

haha i def agree with that. I already got new springs waiting and would love everyones help but maybe we'll leave that for another day

Thanks :tup: so far theyre not too bad, i guess we'll see though
 
I have the same setup as you. Powdercoated 20's with paradas. I put on a thin red strip around the rim on mine to give it a little contrast.

You get any wheel shake since the powdercoating?

Nice! i like the red stripe...its always good to see sumthing different. What size are your paradas? No wheel shake at all i was very lucky, the guy that did the wheels did a good job
