Forgestar f14 (questions)

Hello. I just joined the forum and I am really interested in the forgestar rims. I've been looking at the pictures posted here and have decided that I would like to get these for my recently acquired '12 FX35. However, I have a few questions regarding the wheels. First, I want to keep the ride height similar to what it is at right now what size rims would best accomplish this? Does anyone happen to have these on a graphite second gen FX? and Lastly, Is there anyway to keep the tire dimensions similar to what they are now? Thank you for the assistance it is much appreciated.

Note: I just acquired this car and have no background knowledge on what is best for it. I'm planning on taking it up north where weather might become an issue so ideally I was thinking of trying to put tires on these wheels that are not extremely low profile.
 
You want to keep the rolling diameter as close as possible to the stock diameter, so the speedometer isn't thrown off that much. Another member here has them, I'm sure he'll chime in soon. You can see his FX all the way in the back with the F14s.

Also another question. What's the difference between concave and I think it said semi concave? I saw it on a post in the forums Ill see if I can find the link
 
Concave is how much it curves inward into the hub. So there are different setups you can have. There's deep concave which is pretty aggressive. My wheels are semi-concave, its goes inward a bit. I guess every wheel vendor has their own "definition" of concave, but by looking at various pictures you can tell the difference between deep concave and semi-concave. If I can do it again for my wheels, I would've gone 11' width with a deep concave instead of 10.5" semi-concave, but I didn't know better two years ago as it was all new to me.

Here's an example of deep concave and you can see how aggressive it is:

Here you go. If you want concave I suggest you go with 10" wide with an aggressive offset like 25.

I love how the forgestar's look on your ride Ian, are you planning to do a drop anytime soon?

Nice what size rims and tire profiles? I was thinking of doing 20s so I can have alittle more sidewall plus since I'm not adjusting the suspension I figured anything larger than the stock with sidewall increase would raise the ride height

No drop in the future as the camber issue would destroy my tires; I drive a lot.


Try to keep the diameter of the tires the sane as oem or the Awd and or speedo will get thrown off.

Mine is 265/40/22 on a 22x9 et +30. Flush in the front and could use a 10mm spacer in the back if you like the herra frush look :-)

There's another member on here with 20" F14s; I'm sure you can easily find the thread if you search.
