I've searched, read the owner's manual and the shop manual, tried several fixes from the manuals and online forums and yet cannot get the memory seats auto retract feature to work, memory to set and steering auto up to work.

It was working just fine then I disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and this happened.

I can get the seat mem lights to blink if I hold the set button 10+ seconds in off and acc

I can activate the feature in the settings screen

it will still not work and it was fine before the battery disconnect... help??

I had the same issue, they told me the key fob is for each driver, I set mine as Driver 1 and my wife is set for driver 2, just havent tested with the 2nd fob.

You have to turn on the seat retract and steering wheel raise as options in the settings menu.

I had adjusted everything after my wife did, shes 5'4" and she was set for driver 1. I set myself as driver 2 and I'm 6'4". So long story short, every time I got in the car after shutting it off, at the gas pump, the seat and steering wheel was back to her settings, I don't fit. Yes I can push driver 2 button but everything moving each time I stop and start the car is a pain. Seems like it should stay in the last position as when it was turned off like my Ford trucks. I wanted to keep the second fob in storage so when we loose the one we use, we have a backup.

no seat retraction, its set for seat crunching. The dealer said the fob's are sinc'ed to driver 1 and driver 2. Now i'll test tomorrow and then take both fobs and see what happens.

If its what you said, I'll try to figure it out and post back.

If it's CPO, I would just take it to the dealer and make them fix it if it is turned on in settings menu.

First check all your fuses. The ones on the left rear behind the battery (they slide right up) & the ones under the driverside kick panel.

If those are ok Try turning the key on but don't start the engine, position your seat where you want it to return to. Press and release the memory set switch. Within five seconds, press and hold the switch again for at least a half second. After this you should see the light on the switch come on for five seconds, this is telling you it is programming the setting.

After this turn the key off, exit and lock the car. Then unlock it and open the door, get back in and see if the seat does return to the programmed position.

If it doesnt work check the connections under the seat there might be a position sensor or plug that got caught in something under there since its such a crammed area. Let us know if that works. Good luck!

this happened to me and turning it on, off, on again worked. Then I saved my seat selection again. Make sure you do it with door closed.
