Hi,

Recently my HID Fog light will not turn on, I put back the regular 9006 bulb and it still will not turn on.

Looks like there is no current going into the plugs, I checked all the fuse (pull each one out and none of them is bad).

On the fuse manual and there is nothing for fog light.

Any suggestions??

There is a specific fuse for the fog light that is located in a fuse box in the battery compartment behind the battery. You will have to remove the the pass. side windshield lower trim molding to get at that box. But you may want to check the connector and see if there is a bad connection due to rust.

Glad I found this post, I'm pretty sure my fog light fuse blew. Anyone know the exact fuse I need to replace it?

Do I need to remove the battery to get to the fog fuse?

No you do not have to remove the battery just the lower trim and the battery compartment.. You can check which fuse to replace by looking at the diagram on the fuse box cover or just see which of the fuses is blown.

its the 4th one down on the left side. trust me.. i kow. you might alo want toreplace the blown fuse with a 30amp fuse. hid kits do take more power to start up.

Will I risk melting the wiring or any other consequence from a 15 amp fuse to a 30 amp fuse?

What did you do Humberto?

LOL .. I just changed mine last night but mine is on the right side (well, if you're looking @ it, it's on the right side). You just have to take the plastic tabs off and the cover around the battery will come off. Since I didnt have an extra fuse to replace the 15A with, I pulled the 20A from my rear defogger and swapped it.

Okay, just got a battery harness to avoid this from happening again. I was afraid of melting the wiring upgrading above a 15 AMP fuse.

I have used 20 or 25 amp fuse since I have installed HID kit and have had no problems for over 2 years now.

I'm having the same problem - but I changed out the fog assemblies for a projector/angel eye lamp. The connector is exactly the same, but there is a pair of extra wires from the light (I'm guessing these are the angel eye wires). If I just use the connector, shouldn't the projectors still work? They don't. so I will check on the fuse behind the battery like all you guys are talking about.
