Did the same mod but left on the resonator, I have no drone. I heave heard guys with the flows and no resonator and its annoying loud. The muffler itself just made the stock sound a little bit more pronounced.

If I could do it again, I would probably go custom too.
If you're talking about mine, its not a good idea. It would be cheaper for you to build your own than for me to ship this one across the country. Just have someone cut the three tubes off the oem muffler and weld them onto the flowmaster. Bing bang boom done.

Im interested in modding the mufflers as well.
From the forums I have seen Flowmaster 80s are the best bet.
