Flashing SLIP light after Clockspring replacement

Having issues after replacing my clockspring, my mechanic reset the VDC Off and Slip lights initially and re-calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor however he mentioned it was still off from what he saw from his scan tool. I've been experiencing the slip light flash usually whenever I'm going around a bend in the road and if I need to brake while the light is flashing my brake pedal will physically slip. I am going back to get my angle sensor re calibrated to see if that will fix the problem.

Anyone experience similar issues after replacing the clockspring? I don't think my angle sensor is damaged because I never had this issue prior to replacing the clock spring only a flashing airbag light which is now gone.

Update: Got the angle sensor re-calibrated and the car re-aligned, still the same issue. I just turned off traction control for now because its not safe when my brake pedal slips. If someone can help me out, I would appreciate it.

What do you mean by "brake pedal slip"? You spongy and it doesn't stop the car? I have mess with a few clock spring by retro fit the 1st Gen FX with paddle shifter, but have not run into any issue you're experiencing. How it your brake fluid level in the reservoir?

The brake pedal slips physically as if the car lost traction on a snowy or rainy day if I attempt to brake while the slip light flashes. It typically flashes around a bend in the road. I checked the brake fluid and its sitting slightly under the max level. I went ahead and ordered a scan tool that can re-calibrate the angle sensor just to see if it is reading correctly, if its not then most likely I'm going to assume my mechanic either did not align the angle sensor correctly with the clockspring or the sensor itself is damaged which would be the worst case.

After scanning the ecu I can see that the angle sensor is calibrated and does show the angle change as I turn the steering wheel, so I think it is fine, but still getting the damn SLIP light flash around curves in the road.

Final update: My angle sensor ended up being faulty reading about 15 degrees off at certain speeds, and went out today giving me a code and solid VDC off and slip lights.
