Has anyone on the forum done this to their car? How can i do this to my fenders with that ugly plastic thing in the way? If I remove the plastic piece and flare the fender, will I be able to put on the piece without any trouble?70ebc2b08b87cc5e105f27bb1fd37290.jpg4260a9b414bd94141ac11c3e46807e11.jpg

You can get the flares that Baias has but it looks kind of funny if you don't have a body kit as it doesn't stay flush when the flares meet the lower side skirt and front lower bumper so it looks off even with the OEM aero kit. He has an aftermarket front lip and few months back he bought new aftermarket side skirts now so with that it will look awesome. I was going to get these and decided not to because of this reason.

What sort of flare are you looking for? Just the bolt on flares in the link? Or make your actual fenders wider for wider wheels?

make my actual fenders wider for wider wheels... i might be picking up some 22x10.5 +20 and its gonna poke out quite a bit...

That's not going to poke out. And the flares available or cosmetic only. They replace the plastic trim, but it just looks wider, wheel clearance is the same since the underlying metal is still there. Only way to actually get wider flared fenders that give you more clearance is to pull the metal and reattach the plastic trim or widebody the whole thing.

But for the wheels you want, not much work is needed. Maybe roll fenders in back depending on how low you go. Make sure to size tires correctly.
