What do you guys call the weird hinged half door not a cup holder not a map pocket thing on the front door panels?
The drivers side on my 2005 FX35 is looser than the passenger door. At some point in time someone put adhesive backed velcro on the floppy pocket and on the door panel hoping that would keep them from tapping your calf when you get out.
Does the floppy pocket thing have a spring that's prone to breaking? Does it have something ill'engineered like the floppy space taker upper in the center console cup holder?
I have my own ideas on making permanent repairs to these goofballs, but since it's a 12 year old car, I also wonder if someone has already come up with a better DIY solution.
