My stereo has been cutting out on me left and right. I just can't take it any more. Sometimes the speakers play perfectly, other times they cut out when I hit a bump and the sound doesn't come back. I also broke my flat ribbon cable going to the front board. That ribbon controls the eject, tape function, and load functions of the cd/tape player. So, I have been running with the same cd's in my car now for 6 months...I can't get them out.
I found 2 people now that can fix our BOSE stereo's. I know some of us have the stereo cut out on some speakers when playing a cd. Or when it's cold outside the stereo does some wierd stuff.

They advise the repair to be $295. Turnaround is about 1-2 weeks. They give a 1 year warranty on the repair. When I asked them, they only knew what a G35 was..what the heck is an FX?? lol... but a BOSE stereo is a stereo. And they know how to fix them.

He has 100% perfect reliability on ebay. He answers questions and replyies very quickly. He is located here in So Cal in El Monte. I am going to meet with him this Monday. He only gives a 3 month warranty on the repair.
His repair cost $245, but you get a refurbished unit sent out right away (or meet with him and just hand over your old one and get another). Also, if you trade in your broken radio, he'll give you $60 credit. So for $185 (cash only otherwise taxes are involved in CA), you can get the stereo right away..especially if your in So Ca.
