First Gen Copper

Looking stance! Headlight is next? The chrome in the headlight is too much for your theme!

Im still unsure about cracking 1k dollar lights. I see soooo many people have done it but i have a seriously short attention span and if something goes wrong i have the tendancy to throw things, this might not be the best idea considering the cost :) You guys keep at me about them though and I think I might get shamed into doing it.....

Thanks for all the love, I have decided to have a flowmaster installed instead of dropping the money for a full cat back right now. I have heard the youtube vids and the 45's sound good with that simple muffler change.

Looks good, copper and black ftw!! lol

Man I love that thing.... what are you riding on 22's?

Nice ride man. I like the blackened stock wheels. You are giving me some ideals for my FX. P.S. the flow master will sound good on you ride.

Man you werent lying... I just got the muffler done today and what a difference. Kept the resonator, I dont need the raspiness. I still intend to do a catback dual system later on down the road, but for 250 out the door this was an affordable improvement over stock. Kept the same sound qualities, just made them louder.

Cool, i may also go to a muffler shop and have them install a sport muffler instead of saving for the Stillen catback system, like I am doing now.

Probably one of my favorite OEM colors from Infiniti of all time. Some tasteful modifications, the FX is looking great. Any plans for headlight/taillight work?

Thanks... I had considered both but for now they are going to stay the way they are. Cant do much with taillights in this state so at least the red doesnt clash too harsh with the color and the headlights I have been considering. Problem is, I just bought the car last year and the headlight recall had never been done, so I got a new set of headlights. I am hesitant to crack open the set now since they are so expensive and new. I admit, the black housing looks real good. My wifes altima has the housing gray like the car and it looks great. I may see if i can get a shop out here to do it, that way they can screw it up.

1yakini, sweet ride man. Liking the spacers also. What kind of spacers. I think you said 25mm as well. How does your fx drive? DZid you get the ones with the built in lugs?

AeroBFA, thanks for the info. on spacers man. I will stick with those brands definately. How long have you had your spacers on? Have you ever had wheel bearing issues with them on?

I only run spacers on the OEM 20" winter setup and never had any issues. I think the wheel bearings tend to wear out a little more quickly on our cars in general, from what I read.

Thanks brother... I was about to go with H&R but went ahead and bought b2auto http://www.b2autodesigns.com/product_info.php?products_id=5231. built in studs, just a little cheaper than H&R. There were a couple people on here who use these and no problems thus far. Everyone at the shop I go to runs spacers it seems, no one has had any problems. torque them correctly... use anti seize compound and obviously check them once in a while. Aero is right, the 2 front hubs on my car went at 45k and that was without spacers so they already suck. Ill take my chances since they are a warranty item anyway.

I think I am about to plasti coat all the plastic trim, its slowly turning gray from wax and sun and im tired of using blackening compound on it. Anyone have any other ideas?
