First attempt painting my FX headlights.

What's up fellas ? this is my first attempt at painting my FX headlights. Usually i stick with painting the G35 coupe headlights.

Well tell me what you guys think.. should i add something extra to them ?

Looks good. Did you take off the chrome bezels or will it be totally black?

i had gloss black headlights on my G. really didn't do it for me. then i went to flat. i think flat or satin shows more detail.

Lose the amber reflectors.

Edit: Actually it matches your FX color. It might look okay.

Those look really good. As N2FX said, switch out the amber reflectors while you have them open if you can and it'll give it the extra touch.

Or spray the reflectors with a tint spray.

Thanks for the comp guys. I love the Amber, but i may throw LED ambers in there.. compliments the color of my FX.

Loooks good, But i would of put the chrome turn bulbs in, I think they clean up the fronts a lot more.

i should of left the chrome bezel. but i'm still happy with the turn out.

Looking good man. The first time I painted the housing I taped off the bezels - after baking... the chrome look started flaking off. You were better off going all black from the start.

Looking good man. My first round of painting I taped off the bezels... the chrome flaked off not too long after they came out of the booth. It was frustrating too say the least. The amber signals look sharp with your paint.
