Dammit, wish we did this to both of our FXs on the same driveway! :( You should have come visit me for a mini vacation and have done this at my place!

I just went on a test drive and the car is unbelievably quiet!!!! :bulgy-eyes::bulgy-eyes: I can't even hear the cars go by me now. I drove past a bus and you know how their engines are loud I couldn't even hear it inside the car. All I hear now is some slight wind noise and road noise from under the front floor (which I haven't done that yet). But it's very minimal. It's so quiet inside damnnn. This truly has to be the best bang for you buck thing you could do. I was a bit skeptical seeing other IS members on here using this stuff but now I'll keep my mouth shut:bomb:

I can't begin to imagine what it will be like if I add some under the front floor and when I do the trunk. Since I have low profile tires I also noticed that "thump" sound you get when you go over a bump and the tire slaps the ground that noise is gone I can't hear it. It makes it feel like the suspension is on air haha. This is definately not a placebo type of thing either. I recommend this to everyone!! :good::good:

You are indeed very brave man to do those mods by yourself. I swear I could have turned blue if I open my door panel and see all of those confusing tangle of cables and wires.

Thanks man! I did get a little nervous when I did the front doors because when I took that metal brace off the glass started to move I was wondering it would fall into the door. But all went well :smile (2):

haha I wish man. Always nice to have a little meet. You should really do this mod!

That sounds awesome Aaron, it sure is nice when you can see or hear the results of your work immediately.
Good job.

Thanks everyone!

Jonas you really should do this. :good:

I think this little project is starting to turn into an obsession because now all I've been thinking about is where to sound deaden next. I also want to add the foam noise barrier too.

I need to do my trunk too, my aftermarket sub is vibrating the whole trunk inside and out and sounds wack

weird....I don't have that problem at all...others have gotten subs put in the back without any issue. Is it possibly your license plate frame that is causing the noise?

The rattle isn't bad but I like no rattle what so ever. Plus it doesn't help that I bump my music pretty loud lol

Sounds like an awesome mod... the cabin's not the quietest car on the highway. How did you do the trunk? Did you stick it to the floor, or under the spare tire?
