^right, love them when i enter or exit the car :smug:.
thinking if i change to a bulb with less leds might help a bit

i assume it's gonna be a mission to change those under the handles? i don't even bother as i can't even see below the handle and see how it looks like. probably need to remove the whole door panel?

Washed this filthy slut off today after being covered in bugs like crazy from my long Memorial weekend trip out to the midwest. Glad to be back at home today:

All I can say is what an awesome trip it was with the FX. Call me crazy but I used saran wrap to protect the front from rock chips on my road trip. It worked out great:tup:

I'm already planning my July 4th weekend trip:cool:

Nope, no need to remove the door panel. You just need to use a trim remover tool to pop the leather handle off. I already tried it and it works. I found out the door handles use the same light bulb as the glove box and coin pocket lights. I'm going to be changing them soon.

Looks good Aarom.
You should get the full bumper and clear bra treatment, it's the way to go. No chips on mine and bugs don't stain it or stick on too bad.
I drove from Ontario to Michigan yesterday, Michigan to Wisconsin today and will be in North Dakota tomorrow.

What....? Do you not stop and smell the roses?

haha thanks guys!

I do have a clear bra, but only on the bumper. The mirrors, hood, and fenders don't so thats why I temporarily used saran wrap just for the trip lol....

Your butt must hurt! That's a lot of driving!

LOL no pics of the saran wrap. Only problem I had was the saran wrap I put on the hood ended up coming off while driving and flying back into my windshield. Scared the s*** out of me. I had to pull over and tape it back down on the side of the road. By the way that was at 3AM at night in Pennsylvania lol.

Does anyone know if this is normal? The distance control assist on my FX picked up deers on the road a few times and warned me of them on the road. The manual says it only picks up cars but not pedestrians and animals, but mine does.....wierd but cool at the same time....

The DCA probably utilizes a sonar/radar type device so it wouldn't be able to differentiate between metal and flesh. I'd guess the manual says it does not pick up people and/or animals for liability reasons, because things that small aren't ALWAYS seen by the system.

ahh I see, good way of putting it:tup:

I thought the system may of been confused or something. If they put that it does pick up animals and what not, people would be on relying on it to do that.

Got to love it when she's freshly washed after some experience with salt trucks:
