Before the day of my surgery I had some time to test out and wrap both front pillars in black suede with a 1/8" foam backing:

Before (hate the beige):

Edges were wrapped razor sharp with no bubbles or wrinkles like factory:




I'll finish the rest of the headliner and pillars once I heal up a bit better!

is that where the trunk cover comes on or off, mine is so discolored. i might do the CF Wrap on them.

The wrapped part in that picture is the A pillar trim.

It's pretty easy to wrap pieces in suede, but just expect to make a few mistakes the first or second time around because there is a learning curve. I wasted a few pieces the first time learning how to do it.

I'm taking the headliner out in the morning. The part I hate about the G is the rear seats lower and upper need to come out

I temporarily installed the A pillar trim I wrapped back into the car to see what it looks like. I like it!

I just rubbed it a few times. I don't really hit my head on it getting in and out. I'm sure it would wear out faster if that were the case. The website says it can be rubbed 30,000 times before it starts to wear out.

Don't really have any ideas for the FX. I just like enjoying it the way it is.

Honestly the only reason I'm modding the G is because I don't care too much about it. Things I normally would be afraid to do on the FX I'm not really afraid to do on the G. Do you think I would really rip the interior apart to do a suede headliner on the FX? lol Never! I'm too scared. Basically I'm using this car to experiment with.
