Finally installed exhaust

Sup guys, last time I posted was about a year ago when I got my FX stolen. Since then I've made sure to keep the damn door closed and locked if it's running haha. Finally ordered and installed my Invidia Gemini catback, which is now attached to my Beluga test pipes. After the exhaust broke in, even with my test pipes it kept the VQ growl but sounds beast at WOT. Gainz everywhere lol next up are intakes, headers, and a tune. Not sure why its not letting me put up any vids... got sound clips and a bunch of RT / M3 / Q50 etc getting gapped haha

Headers? I imagine that you'll have to get them custom fabricated, as I haven't seen any aftermarket options. Looking forward to seeing how this works out for you. Good luck!

Any 3.7 VHR headers and or testpipe will work on FX37...

Yep and also had to order Z1 gaskets for the front of the test pipes, plus weld another flange since I'd randomly hear a grinding noise. Found out it was my exhuast hitting the heat shield

Im having the exact same issue. Ive had to change no less than 6 gaskets already. Ive even cut off where it bolts and welded it in one spot. Its to the point now that im considering a whole new exhaust system. I have that exact setup beluga resonated pipes w/ invidia exhaust.

Well im done with the invidia. Purchased and waiting on HKS hi power exhaust. Should be delivered this coming monday/tuesday. Ill post once its on and i get to hear it.

Please keep us posted on the headers. Im seriously interested.

For a tune I'm gonna go to admintuning, as I've been following his work and he knows what hes doing.. tuned a 350z turbo nismo, raced a R35 and it was head to head.. check out his account on IG @admintuning. I asked how much and he said $650. I'm planning on getting the 2 step and flame map as well lol. As for intake, I'm gonna go with the one that comes out to the front and the filters sit right behind the grill.

Oh man I completely missed this years ago when I was replying haha... yeah I got real sick of all the leaks. How's the HKS?
 
I know this is an old thread but as an update, someone left their car in the fast lane and long story short I slammed directly into it. So RIP FX #2 lol

Anyways, I now have a dark gray QX70 with just cosmetics and OEM GT-R Premium Rays 20" wheels.
Ordered 2.5 pipes, mufflers and tips and I'm in the process of making a completely custom exhaust... Will post a WIP thread shortly.

Yikes. Glad you walk away ok. Interested to see what you comes up with. I installed the ARK GRip into mine. I should be able to test out the ARK tomorrow with finger crossed that the drone is minimal.
