None of the reviews are in it's favor, but I'll go to see it anyway.

i don't think any reviews were ever in F&F's favor. but critics go to movies to think, us regular ppl go to movies to enjoy.

on the enjoyment factors, its got some good actions, good effects, and some glimpse of nice cars.

Good overall action film i guess but its not so much a car film anymore.
very little racing driving, most were running away driving.

this one is indeed different from the previous, its so different that i feel it doesn't deserve a fast & furious badge.

You mean like the tachometer and speedometer, or a gas gauge when they were unloading the gas? I don't remember either, but I'm trying to visualize it.
Oh, did anyone notice the 4x4 Lambo's near the end? The guy sitting next to me did.
