Last week I went in a restaurant and I left my wife in the car with it running and I came out and it was almost running hot. I opened the hood and my coolant was bubbling in the coolant tank. I wasn't far from home and I decided to get home and as soon as I drove off my temp went back to normal. I did my research and found out if your car runs hot at idle to check the fans. I drove my car all week without a problem and I noticed that my fans were not coming on. I made an appointment with the dealer, took it in, and told them what happened. The problem was the fan, they fixed it for free (out of my warranty), and I paid to have my oil changed. She's back running like a champ. Another thing that I noticed was my a/c seemed to struggle before I got my FX fixed and not its back blowing cold. Does the fans have anything to do with the A/C? Oh and my plasti-dipped wheels are doing great. No chips or peels. Pictures coming soon...
