He guys,

Just did a detailing job on my head lights.
As you can see it was time already again, did this around a year ago so i guess every 6 months is a good interval to do this one.

I used a "wet" rag to apply and rub around the light and a dry polishing towel to remove the left overs.

Look at the difference between both lights....

Here halfway....good results!

The stuff responsible for the results.

So, if your lights look yellowish as well you know what to do now

Maybe try to seal the headlights too. Otherwise, they'll keep getting hazed every few months. There is a UV sealant on the headlights when new and over time that wears away causing the yellowing. When you polish, you remove anything that's left and the plastic will yellow very quickly. They make UV sealants (forgot the names) that will help to prolong the time between polishings.

After Plastix, a couple coats of clear will protects it much longer. Most clear coat contain UV protections.

Product seems very promising, probably better when applied with a DA polisher. Looks great.

So a clear coat of spray paint can be used on them?
I think i will leave it like this for now, i want to get modded headlights with angel eye's and on the driver side light there is a crack so i probably end up changing out the lights anyway.

I am still trying to find a set of the clear covers, saves me buying complete headlights

Yes, clear coat spray paint will help. The body shop grade clear will last much longer.

Ok, thanks for the info.
I will see but maybe soon i will get some new ones ordered and do some modding....black inside with the angel eye's.
Really like the looks of black insted of chrome...and will fit my new black grille as well

This method works, I have done it on one of my headlights 8 months ago and it still looks great.
