Factory Warranty issues with coilovers? Northern VA dealer

I have a 100kmile infiniti wrap warranty. 14k on my 09. Considering investing in coilover (20s and tires too)s. I know the generalities (magnussan moss, make them prove it, etc) but wondering if others have real world experience? I live in Nova btw and will be using Infinit of Tyson's for all repairs.
 
There aren't very many 2nd Gen FX's on coils so this issue has not come up yet. Make sure to post pics and your impressions when you install the coils.
 
I don't have personal experience with coilovers but as expected, it will vary greatly depending on the actual issue that comes up and with the individual dealers. I can see warranty claims going both ways depending on a lot of factors. The biggest reason NOT to do it is the inability to properly align the wheels thus far.

If you go through with it, please let us know your experiences as they aren't very many dropped 2nd gens yet. :good:
 
i had posted in the morning, very weird how it didnt go through. Anyways, M.M Act wont help if the dealer finds that your coilovers busted ball joint, they might blame it on your spring rate being too stiff and etc. Best case, find a dealer that is mod friendly. I remember when i had 22s, my motor mount busted the dealer blamed it on my wheels! They thought i was really stupid, i called the sales manager who sold me the car and he took care of it.
