how much does it cost to powder coat? i want to eventually do my gtr's.
Average is around $400 for a set

I wanted to go polished but there is no way Im going to do it myself way to time consuming. I have looked into it and it would be around $300
to have it done professionally.
I may go crinkle powdercoat to be on the cheap side
I had them done by Graff by KBM in Jacksonville Florida
I like his work, His prices are legit and turn around was fast. He recived my parts monday and was done them Tuesday

The person who is making the lower engine shields, tollboothwilley, does a lot of engine polishing. I got a couple of quotes from him and it was way less than $300 for just the plenum. Having said that, I don't know how much it would be for shipping to Canada and I don't know how the conversion rate is right now.
The guy that quoted that gave me a price over email so he may have quoted high to blow me off maybe.
I have a spare plenum I dont mind shipping but by the time I ship back and forth and pay for polishing might be just as high

There is a guy on G35 Driver who charges like $110 for a polished plenum, as long as you send him back your core.
