Ever think about getting the lines of the bumper filled in too? I'm assuming you are going to paint the entire bumper gloss black, so may as well smooth the seams for a ultra-clean look.
What im doing paint wise if you look at the the lower portion of the bumper it sort of comes to a point...Im going to mask that part so that part will be a dark gunmetal like my head lamp bezels and the rest will be black.
Its hard to explain but I think it will look really cool when done kind of GTRish

I was thinking of getting my hands on a 2nd gen lip to see how close it is to fitting. the 2nd gen bumper comes in 2 pieces so maybe get the lower half of a 2nd gen and mold it in so the lip would fit right on ?
