In reading up I see that the most popular bolt ons for out FXs are a cold air intake, technosquare and a catback. What gains could be expected from these bolt ons? Is it that noticeable?

I would start with an intake and then a 5/16 or 1/2 plenum spacer
I dont think anyones gotten any real readings as for HP, as Dyno time is $$$

Since you have a 45 there is no plenum spacer available like the 35. I think psiclne thought you had a 35. But a cold air intake and a exhaust won't give very much noticeable gains. I think the TS reflash will give you the best gains you can feel.

Opps - hahahaha I didnt realize he had a 45......

Basically intake, exhaust, ecu reflash are engine mods. Does the 45 have the same cats as a 35? You could also get high flow cats or test pipes.

I called Technosquare today and the information I got from them was very vague. For you guys that did this would you say it made a 20 plus hp gain by the seat o meter??? Any driveablitly issues? I need to justify spending $550. Thanks!

I dont think any of the 45 guys has done a before and after dyno, TS doesnt have a awd dyno. From memory I think dr.2k & trainerken has done it, both guys were pleased with the outcome, but I dont think they have dynos. I think dr2k did a dyno after the ts flash.

Here is a OLD dyno from when we started with TS and the reflash. This is not my dyno but it does show a before and after. As you can see it makes about 10HP but smoothes out the power overall.

Looks like it makes a nice gain in tq too. A/F are still on the safe side as well. Do you know if TS will work with you as far as a custom tune or is it off the shelf only?

224 hp stock?? Holy smokes... thats over 40% driveline loss!!!

Yes, they will do custom tunes but I think you will have to take it to their shop. But they don't have a AWD dyno. Talk to Tadashi if you have not already.

TS rocks!
Drivability is better & smoother delivery is obvious. That's on a 35 for me, but I'm sure the results will be similar for ya
