hey i just bought a 07 fx35. i want to put an exhaust and i can only find 1 from a company called invidia on ebay for 900$, are there any other brands made for my year??

also all intake kits that i see are only fit till 2006, will they still work on an 07??

any info will help as I dont know much about these cars, i just traded in a wrx sti for it so i deff want to get at least a nice exhuast and intake on it, and im looking for minimal modification, i mean like bolt on and go,

thanks in advance

Definitely plenty of choices out there. Most intakes that fit a g35 or a 350Z will also work for the FX. Probably the most common intake on this site is the Stillen.

Best bang for your buck would be the plenum spacer or new upper plenum.

Tons of exhaust options too - just do a search on here and check out the members different exhausts. Most common are the Nismo & HKS. Also Invidia, Stillen... all depends on what you want to spend. For exhausts made for the G35 or the 350Z, they will usually work on the FX with welding modifications that most any exhaust shop can handle.

Welcome to IS. Go to search and type in "Invidia Gemini" and you'll find a few threads on their latest exhaust for the FX (Gemini). I have their previous model Q300 exhaust and like it a lot.

+1 on the new Gemini. Top quality materials and build, really liking mine. As you are running a 35 your system should be a complete bolt on.

thanks a lot guys!! i really love this fx and now i look foward to some slight mods! Even the stock exhuast has a slight groan to it. Im gonna check out the invidia and the stillen i think those would be best, perhaps the hks.

Whatever exhaust system you end up getting, make sure it is stainless steel. I bought an aluminized Stillen exhaust for my Pathfinder in 1998 and within a couple of months it started to show signs of corrosion. By 3 years, the exhaust tip nearly fell off. The muffler also had a golf ball sized hole in it at around the same time. I have to say my experience with Stillen quality was less than stellar on my old Pathfinder. A rear sway bar upgrade had a broken U-clamp. Stillen would not replace it for me, but my dealer fortunately did. I had a set of Stillen (AP Racing?) slotted and cross-drilled front rotors that kept on warping. After remachining them twice in 1.5 years, the third time they warped, I took them off and replaced them with the stock rotors. Though I didn't have any problems with my Stillen headers cracking, I heard many others did...they were eventually discontinued.

If you're seriously considering Stillen, talk to a few IS members that have a Stillen exhaust to see if they're happy with the quality of the product...I'm afraid my confidence in Stillen is not very high from my previous experience with their products. Same goes if you decide to go with a supercharger, which Stillen carries for the FX35.
