Exhaust?

That would be awesome. Not sure though about the trailer hitch since some 2nd gen folks have that like myself. Plus if the Fx50S versus FX50 matters. I hope they also do at least 3'' piping. If they can do all that...they there are going to get a TON of orders because people are not satisfied with borla and invidia modifications.

Can someone please explain something to me. You can get a ticket for a loud exhaust right? Then how do Ferrari's and Lambo's get past state laws for that? They come OEM with REALLY loud exhausts. So what a cop is going to give you a ticket for being OEM :.rofl:

It's all discretion man. Harleys are always loud and never get pulled; though they come from factory within db spec..

Yup total agree with what Ian said. There are some Harleys that so freaking loud and never seen one got pull over. I think that cop that pull you over must not met the month quotas :wink (2):
 
Loud pipes save lives! Being a former cruiser motorcycle rider I get it. My pipes were so loud, it was easy setting off car alarms.

I was lucky to see the Harley was pulled over for a loud exhaust once, but yeah it's probably monthly quota thing...
 
Has a muffler though. I cant see how it is sooo loud. Pretty silly of the police. Fix it ticket? PITA
 
I'm still undecided whether to get the Invidia or the Ark UGH :mad.: Invidia sounds pretty good and at a decent price whereas the Ark sounds better IMHO but much more expensive UGH again !!! I figure if I go Invidia it'll still sound better than OEM and I'd be able to go Spring clothes shopping with the savings or I can say F**K it and just get the Ark since you only ummmm live once :wink (2):
 
Why not just get a used G37 coupe exhaust and Y pipe? Its a direct bolt on except the tips need to be extended. I see used ones on eBay for like $150-200. It actually sounds just like lerry's Ark exhaust and much cheaper.

I'm actually thinking about doing this myself. I've already seen it done before.
 
I'm thinking $200 for the exhaust and like $100 something for a little custom fabrication not bad at all. I love the stock coupe exhaust sound. Its mean, loud, and raspy. Just how I like it...
 
Fire0nic that's awesome, are you thinking about doing it anytime soon? I would love to see how it works out and sounds.
 
So I asked ark about moding their fx35 exhaust system to fit the fx50 and they are willing to but I would have to bring my 50 to them I'm in nyc so i can't ,is there anybody local with a 50 that would like to contact them and finish this up...
