you guys have any recommendations to get rid of the build up on my oem exhaust tips?

NEVR DULL. Luckily my mom has it lying around for something, it works really well.

I used Never-Dull on mine. Got rid of the grime outside and inside is much cleaner. There's a thread about it here:

i would never use anything else on my my FX's tips. the stuff is amazing and very cheap

I think I first saw Doc or Dave post about it a year or so ago. I've been using it ever since, inside and outside your tailpipe. Nevr-Dull Wadding Polish.
