I drive a 2004 Fx35 AWD, and I notice a rotten egg smell coming from my exhaust, can somebody enlighten me as to what this odor could mean, I was thinking of having my fuel system cleaned, and also is NGK Iridium spark plugs the best to use.
My moms nissan had this smell before when the catalytic converters went bad. It left a rotten egg smell. Not too long after that the ses ligbt came on for a catalytic converter code that they were running below efficiency. After they were changed the odor went away.
