Im looking for a new exhaust pipe for my FX35 AWD. Can somebody tell me which one would be a nice one to buy?? Im looking for something that will produce deep smooth sound when I pump the gas..and also does it come in one piece or does it come piece by piece and I have to put them together??

Please help:smile:

Nismo - three pieces: y pipe, mid pipe, rear section. Y pipe will not fit unless you modify it as it is for a RWD. You also need a g35 extension piece. You can just replace the mid section and rear section if you do not want to modify the y pipe (use OEM y pipe).

Stillen - true dual cat back- x pipe, "two" mid pipes, "two" rear section mufflers.

HKS - two pieces: mid pipe, rear section. Y pipe available only in Japan (from what I hear). All pieces interchangeable with OEM pipes. You can just get the rear section if you want or just the mid pipe.

A lot of other G35/350z exhausts you can try but the above as Dr.2k mention are the most popular.

Thx alot for the help..its a little complicated, as I have only little experience in cars, but IM trying to pimp my FX to the max..

Do you have to buy them all sperately??

Do you have to buy them all sperately??

HKS - you can buy them separately or together. Both options exist.

Nismo - I believe you can only buy together. G35 extension you need to buy separately.

Stillen - you can only buy together.

There are two y-pipes available in the for sale section which are popular to use for the HKS and Nismo or even OEM exhaust. If you have RWD, you won't have a problem with the Nismo y pipe.

So possible options if you have AWD just to name a few:
Y pipe + HKS mid pipe + HKS Rear section
Y pipe + G35 extension + Nismo Mid pipe + Nismo rear section with extended tips
Stillen full exhaust

Heard the sound of the HKS exhaust on the FX35 and sounds like a monster, but found out it only comes with mid pipe and cat back....which y-pipe do I use??Stock?????and if its Nismo that Im interested do I just need the G35 extension??

I don't want to f*&k this up cause I live outside US and I can't get any of this in this country, so I wanna get it right before I place the order...

Cyco, do you have a 35 or a 45? If you have a 35 (non AWD) then pretty much any 350z G35 Y pipe will work. If you have a 45, talk to Chedman13 as he just found that elusive Y pipe for the AWD 45.

You should write your FX specs in your signature for future reference.
