Exhaust Ordered

Man I cannot wait to see the pics and video of your Borla. I also wanted to get the Invidia, but unfortunately (as you previously mentioned), they do not make it bolt on for the FX50!

I'm hoping for both you and I that the Borla looks and sounds nice! Does anyone know the performance increases the Borla has (ie dyno results)?

oh and I will be in Nova Scotia from the 13-20th of july any chance we could hook up and I could hear it first hand. Not sure what part you live in but I will be in the Bridgewater and halifax areas.
 
FourXX_50 sounds great and looks great! I'm not a huge fan of being able to see the exhaust within the exhaust tip (not sure why Borla released it this way because it looks like an exhaust with tips added), but other than that, the side view, etc and the sound is incredible. I know you will have performance gains too! I look forward to more pics and videos. Congratulations on the purchase and most importantly....go have fun now!!! :)

I'm sure you won't be disappointed...I love the sound

I ordered it from GT Custom Exhaust in Ontario, direct shipped from Borla though. I'll have to double check the duty, I had it shipped to my parents house and they must have paid it, but they didn't come after me for it yet haha

I'm in New Glasgow, about a half hour from the exit in Truro that you take to head towards Halifax, but I'll actually be in Halifax that weekend...METALLICA is playing a concert on Citadel Hill. Shoot me a PM closer to the date and we'll meet up.

No the tune is not out yet for uprev. I am their test car as it stands now. They have my ECU dump but are taking their sweet time working with my tuner. I'll know more once I get back in alberta from Russia. I'll be sure to keep you posted. I make sure to hit you up on a pm closer to when i go to NS

Since I've installed the Borla, there's a ticking/rattling sound near the front of the vehicle. Not sure if something's loose or what's going on...I posted a vid, let me know if you have any suggestions.

The first Borla video sounded better. Now that it's broken in, I can't say that I am a fan (with or without the rattle).

The muffler rear section looks really small though. The welds and the quality of the exhaust, sorry to say not impressed.:sad:

That's a bummer Borla.
 
take a video from behind the car....then do a takeoff and drive by....we are just hearing engine sounds in this video.

The clicking is probably a leak I had a similar noise on my fx35...or it could be aheat shield....cat inners....etc
 
I really like the sound of the exhaust overall, just want to get the rattle/leak/whatever fixed up.

I got a GoPro Motorsport camera the other day, I'll get some good videos on the weekend.
 
How was the install? Did you do it yourself? All the pipes and bends and everything fit correctly??

It sounds like a Borla..... they have "that" sound. And looks nice too.

Does it pull harder? Or does it sound like it pulls harder?
