Hey guys,
I just finished fixing my Stillen ceramic headers (sanded down the flanges) ... i realy hope they work this time, this is my 4th time installing them
On the upside, i just recieved my HKS legamx exhaust, and ksport 8 piston 14" BBK (frnt)
But i want to ask a qeustion, now i know that there have been a few threads about the cold starting issues, i always start my car for at least a minute before moving, but i worry that now that i have an full catback (y-pipe is stock), it will take alot longer for the engine to warm up ... the temps reach 0 degrees celius somtimes :S
When i used had my flowmaster muffler on, the car took FOREVER to heat up!! now i replaced the old muffler again it warms up good ... now i worry about the HKS system
In my opinion, i think the headers will raise the engine temps just a little due to no heat shiled, but on the other hand, i fear they may crack if it hits cold water
Come to think of it, what will happen to my ksport bbk if it hits cold water? cracking:eek.:?!?! oh noooo this sucks
Oh yea, if this all works i really wanna post a video with the new exhaust, i heard the cold makes the car sound much better
