I've got an original exhaust on a car with plenty of underbody rust and 210k miles. It's had some holes here and there which were patched at some point. I got more since I owned it and didn't realize the whole flange connecting rear pipe w/resonator to muffler was cut out and replaced with a pipe.
Anyway. I have an AWD, and I've read a bit about differences. From what I've read the RWD y-pipe is different (alignment/tranny clearance issue). I found a budget replacement "y-pipe back" but it doesn't specify AWD vs RWD. They also have it without the Y-Pipe. If my y-pipe is ok, will I be ok getting without Y-Pipe or will there be an alignment issue at that point as well?
