EX Vs. FX35

^Gear ratios, the weight of the driver, and torque are also factors. Not to mention the particular shape of the HP/torque curves.

Also, technically speaking, if you win a drag race by any amount you do henceforth have the right to use the term "smoked" in regard to your win. It's in the handbook...

I think the 7th speed trasnmission that new FX has and the EX and older FX not have makes a huge difference...
My brother and i have the same weigth and almost same height.

Yeah I figured that, but I figured the weight difference would somehow level itself in the performance category (nothing a couple of bolt-ons and tuning can't cure lol). That being said, now I really regret not buying the FX35, the EX35 AWD does 17.4 Highway for me with cruise control at 60mph, maybe it hasn't been broken in all the way, im at 1025 miles now (Probably doubt it will get any better after break-in).

Wonder if it'd be impossible to do a very expensive swap as a future upgrade? Maybe do a EX37 Swap, maybe it'll cost more than the car itself? I think it'd help the EX's fuel consumption too.

I wouldnt swap anything. It may cost too much. Maybe a few mods to push it to 340-360hp. With a CAI, exhaust, headers and a tune i say you can achieve those numbers.

Thanks a lot, nice to know. As of yet, I haven't modded a single car I have owned. Still new and still learning how to work cars properly. Learning how to work on my own car in the future, also wish I had something better to learn on, I can barely change my own oil (quick learner in a lot of things and good with my hands lol). I never kept it long enough, parents always trade them in. I am waiting to break-in this new engine before tossing anything in, I don't want beat on the new engine.
