im planning on doing this i got like 7ft of carbon wrap gonna do lower back bumper too

The other problem with the pre-cut pieces is that there's a good chance you'll mess some of it up by re-applying to fix alignment issues. This is why the professionally wrapped cars always look so good, they don't have to align, they just use the special cutting tape that was precisely applied beforehand.

I think I'm going to wrap my chrome door trim as well instead of painting.
