I have a 06 FX35 and looking for some engine upgrade parts but not really finding anything for the FX. I know that it is the same motor that is in the 350z/g35 but have also read on some forums that some of the parts would not interchange. I have found some upgraded fuel injectors that is supposed to work but just wanting to make sure. Also for anyone that has went into the boost realm, I have looked into a few different setups and one for instance comes with fuel management and tuning for the g35/350z. So my question is if I went that route could I get the full kit and just redo the intercooler piping or should I go with just a "tuner" kit and get different fuel management and tuning? Thanks in advance.

Ive already found plenty of places to get parts and getting some really good prices on them also, My question wasn't where to get parts but if all of the parts were interchangeable.

also check out the vendors in this forum.

You have all evening to find what you're looking for.
Good luck.

I wouldn't go to any of these places to buy FI parts.

I would much rather go to Z1 motorsport, conceptZperformance, IPP or AAMCompetition. <Atleast these places are vendors are g35 driver, My350z and Myg37, they have products and packages tailored to our VQ platform, and actually have some clue about it. As oposed to CARID which if you call them get routed to some guy who doesn't know his asshole from a hole in the wall.

As for your question on parts interchangeability, lots of stuff from the other VQ platforms will carry straight forward onto our cars, but of course stuff that has to route around components in our engine bay, like charge piping, intercooler pipes, oil lines, etc may not fit properly cause of the dimensions of our engine bay differ.

Thanks Meme, Ive looked mainly on jwt's website along with a few supercharger companies websites and forums. Thanks for some new places to check.

If you want to run basic low boost, you can get away with running the "full" kit. Most of the fuel/engine management solutions that come with the kits are basic. But if you plan to run big power at some point or build the engine, buying a tuner kit is the better bet. That way you get to choose the engine management you want along with fuel system.

Most of the G/Z turbo kits will work for the hot side. You'd likely have to customize IC piping and maybe downpipes. If you get a SC like Vortech, just IC piping would need to be modified.

The good news is that the FX has so much more room so any customization is easier and you shouldn't run into packaging constraints.
