Hi guys,
Just changed the oil yesterday and having some concerns with the oil temperature. I drove around 13 miles to get home yesterday, 105 E - 110 S, steady 40 mph - 60 mph traffic speeds. Got home, shut off the engine, removed the belly pan, and started draining the oil (15-20 minutes total). When the oil drained out, I felt the oil and it was only warm to the touch. I thought it would be pretty hot!
Do you guys have the same situation? Maybe the 20 minute commute home wasn't enough to make the oil hot enough.
