Engine Flush?

So...is it okay to do an engine flush with the VK45DE?[h=2][/h]

Not recommended.

Coolant flush is okay, and necessary, but engine and transmission flushes are not only completely unnecessary but also can do more harm than good.

The reason they can be harmful is the flush can knock loose debris in your engine, and if not flushed until all this debris is out of the engine this debris can end up going damaging your engine.

Be careful, and most importantly, do not listen to those "techs" at budget/mr.lube/insert franchise lube change place here.

I guess if you only care about your engine being clean you'd do it. I know some people here are into that.

some people put a small amount of tranny fluid in to clean the engine. It works cause my work truck had a sticky lifter and they threw some tranny fluid in and it cleaned it out. was interesting. i prsonally wouldn;t do it to my fx but still interesting.
