I'm stuck right now as the engine cranks but won't fire. I did some research:
http://www.familycar.com/carrepair/nostart.htm

and that website says, it's either: 1) Spark 2) Fuel or 3) Compression.

I don't have a Fuel problem, it's full tank and gas cap is on tight. Could it be something else? I had the same problem with my 2001 QX4, where the ignition coils went bad, I hope it's not the same thing....

Anyone else have this issue? I'm at 80,000 miles with no spark plug changes (was waiting until 100,000). I'm on my windows mobile phone so the search function is hard... so sorry if someone already posted this.

I honestly have no clue but tried to do some research.

-On my350 they said try turning the key over or try another key.
-On my350 the person also stated that it ended up being an aftermarket theft system that is throwing the "NATS" code.

Something about the system not recognizing the key.

Will keep looking around..

also read ...

try taking the key out of the ignition
arm the car with your remote
disarm the car with the remote
try starting it again.

Sorry to hear this Ed, but have you ever changed your battery ? If its not the battery then I suspect its bad plugs.

Figured it out... with my OBII. It shut down my car after 4 attempts, the security feature. Got the code p1060 or something. Called Infiniti, they think it's because my I-key was in my pocket next to my blackberry and phone....

Car starts now after inserting the actual key....
