Engine block heater cord 2012 Fx35

So i've recently just purchased a 12 Fx35 up here in Alberta. Love the way the ride looks and feels on the road. Although it is technically the "base" model I was under the presumption that it would come standard with a block heater for our colder climates. I've looked through the grill expecting the cord to be strapped there but saw nothing. I did see a plastic cap, I've removed it and behind it was a screw in type tunnel (fyi, I've put the cap back on). Not to sure if thats where the block heater cord was suppose to be? May be i've looked at the wrong spot? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

**In my haste, i've clicked the fx50 instead of the fx35 threads. If mods would like to move this thread to its proper section.**

It should be coiled up on the drivers side sitting by the fender, pop your hood and have a look. My 2nd gen FX35 and FX50 were both located there.
