El Dorado Park 3/1/09 BBQ Meet

Guys - this is a bit disorganized. There's no definate time, no meeting place even
Though the park is huge, if its a bbq, who's bringing what? The 1st is this weekend boys

Your absoultely right. This would be my first meet here, the last meet I went to some one brought a grill, it was pre-decided how many pounds of short ribs were to be bought according to how many people confirmed and then money was collected amongst all. This also included drinks and sides.
Accept my apologies for the dis-organization. I believe that in order for this to happen we are going to have to move the date up a bit. I think two weeks, March 15. that way we can form a committee for food and have a definite place in the park itself.

anytime in march and a lil in april im not going to be able to attend anything
my baby expected due date is march 13th and thats why im most likely going to be home with my newborn child and yea

Since its seems like a small number of us, I think El dorado would be a bit too large. Plus there is the 7 dollar entrance. Cerritos regional is more accomodating theres rows of parking right in front of the BBQ area and its more suitable for a small group of us. Therfore..Does march 15 sound ok with you guys? I will reserve a spot at the park along 195th theres a row of picnic areas with parking stalls right in front. One side of the park spans 195th, and thats the side where ill be reserving. Ill buy the beef and then we can take care of the beef fund at the park. Those of you that would like to volunteer for drinks and sides please chime in.

also isnt the parks always packed with "soccer players" ? no disrespect. also allot of families get there early to save there spot and all. It would be tough to park together and all, just a thought.

No worries, no disrespect taken. You have a point. The last meet I had there I actually got there early to reserve a spot and a whole row of parking. That side of the park really isnt to soccer active. My parents live in the gated community accros the street from the park and there is a small park in there it would be more private, this would be an option. Im all for what the majority decides on. You guys are more than welcome to meet in there anytime just let me know.
