Eibach Springs Group Pre-Order

Sepan and I contacted Eibach springs just about a million times and they are still lagging on the production of the springs. It seems like the demand is low so they don't really care for putting these into production. We are going to start a list and commit 15-20 cars with preorders to present to Eibach to try and get this thing rolling again. What was supposed to be a 2 week delay turned into a 2 month delay.

It's like a nightmare! 2 years and no springs. Hope this will solve the problem!

What if you just lied and said you had 20 people just like how they lied about them being available? Assuming you don't actually get 20 of course.
 
How about talking to companies that make coilovers?

It seems like Eibach is not giving any love.
And all this effort for a < 2" drop.
I think the 2nd Gens need a lower stance than what Eibachs will provide.

if There any coilober companys here in Cali ill jump on the offer, but the only one is in florida. We have one or two 2nd gens on the forum from Florida, dont know if they would be up to it.

If one of the other companies want 2nd gens for R&D Lerry and I are up for it.
 
+1 Seriously, you really should push for coilovers. Build the list then shop it around. Lowering springs albeit more affordable are just an interim step for what you really want.
 
If we have to wait for Eibach or H&R, I'm waiting for the springs with more drop.

H&R FX35 2009-up Front= 1.3 " drop, Rear= 1.2" drop, Part # 53044

I believe Tony mentioned the reason for the delay was that they went back to make the drop a 1.3" drop im not sure though.

IMO 1.3" isn't enough either. I'm not saying it should be slammed... but it really should be at least 1.5"-1.7" (or 2" would be best). Going from 1" to 1.3"? .3" is like the length of the eraser on a pencil.

I have to keep in mind tha i run on 24"rims so IMO eibachs are enough for me. But if a coilover company wants to jump in and ask me for R&D im up for it i wouldnt say no.

that's true... I guess for you, it would be about right. The thing is... for the people that aren't runnin' 24s, an inch just doesn't seem enough.

I agree with you on that, that is why I am open to R&D my car with any coilover companies that want to do something for our 2nd gens or any other products as a matter of fact.
