ECU update ???

whasup guys does anyone know if there is such a thing as a ecu update? reason i'm asking is because my sister has an 06 fx35 and she complained to the dealer about the acceleration being sluggish. the service guy said he would see if there is any ecu updates for the car. She said she feels a difference in acceleration, but what do you think they did if anything?

Probably just reset the ECU. Did they charge for anything?

yeah just a reset. just drive like you stole it for awhile and then it will learn those habbits.

Awhile back I needed the ecu number to get a tune at Technosquare. So I emailed a dealer to ask for the ecu number for my 04 FX.

This is the email:
A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU WE HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT VERSION BUT HERE IS THE PART #S THE OLD ONE IS 237710-CG700 AND THERE IS A NEW PART NUMBER AND THAT IS 23710-CG70A

Technosquare mentioned to me that it was an update and that they needed to get the update before I could get a tune.
