Trying to learn more about tuning I was talking with a friend who races. He said there may be a software availbe to tune the ECU on my Infiniti rather than buying after market products like Unichip. Anyone knowledgable about this?

Would be helpful if you posted what year and model FX you have on your profile. But Humberto is right Technosquare in Socal is the only place that has cracked ecu's for the FX. But they need to know what year, model and package FX you have to see if there is a ecu available for you.
 
you ever get this sorted out OP? I've got a copy of Uprev Osiris tuner for sale in the classifieds for a really good price if you're still interested, and yes its the business!
