Ive seen a few threads on technosquare ecu reflash, I have a extended warrenty on my fx, does any1 know if that will void the cars warrenty?? Everything I have done thus far is bolt on so i can change back to stock if need be.....Thanks for your feed back!!!
 
Yes, it will void the warranty but only as far as it directly caused the issue. With normal exterior warranty they will never know. Even if they plug in a consult II they will never know unless they try and reprogram the part that was reflashed, like the timing maps, a/f ratio, rev limiter, speed limiter, etc...
 
they won't know as long as they do not specifically run diagnostics on your ECU. I have had mine flashed and tuned and have been tot he dealer a few times and they havent said anything
 
Agreed - Mine has been flashed and the dealer has no way of knowing that unless there is an ECU problem and they have to interface with it directly.

I would say if there WAS an ECU problem - I'd first go back to the tuner before the dealer. I think there is very little chance of your blowing warranty because of a tune.
