ebay hids?????anyone

i have brought and is using a pair of hid from ebay shipped for $30. its been about a months and its still holding up well. the one of the right goes out periodically but will turn back on after a few second on off.
 
HID kit ... for fogs? I have some from ebay , but arent ~$30. I got the "slim" one. works pretty good, have been using them for awhile now.
 
I used the $29 version on my fogs and they are OK so far. The only complain is that the bracket is a little flimsy. If you post the exact item link, I'll be able to tell if you mine is the same. I still have the box.
 
I bought fog light kits from the same seller as themerchant for about $79~ at the time
- Bulb did not perfectly fit the foglight housing
- the "plug" from the car's OEM socket to connect to the ballast was 2 wires, had to DIY it myself with lots of electrical tape.
- One of the bulbs burned out within 5 months.

Then I bought 2 sets of 6000k HID bulb-only for $25 a set on ebay from "zgperformance"
- bulbs are a perfect fit. locks on to the fog/headlamp housing just right
- looks good, been on the car for about a month now, no problems.

i also bought 6K hid bulb from ebay for 25. been like 4-5 months..still good. as for HID kits for fogs...im not sure if the cheap ones will burn the wire harness or screw up anything...mite wanna go 100 at least just to be on the safe side. but i dono...

I have a 05 and it has no problems. The plug was not cut and was plug and play. the 06 and above foglights are different then pre 06.



OP , good luck with your purchase. to be sure of all connections, mounting and bulb fitment are good .... TAKE OFF THE BUMPER to install!
