Not bad, but sounds like there's some drone.... In the first vid, sounds like a lot of exhaust noise inside at cruising speed, there really should be none at that speeds.
 
it sounds okay..
there seems to be some drone and it seems to get a little raspy/tinny at the high RPMS....but maybe that's just the camera? let's see some vids from outside the FX :)

and i knew it was going to be the x02 aka HKS copy as soon as you said ebay lol..... please extend those tips!!!!
you're lucky you didn't have any problems with it like some people have... im sure once you get a video from the outside we can realize how loud it really is haha because i know the x02/hks is LOUD....

p.s. fix your signature ;) you need "x02 exhaust"

There's a lot of different copies of the HKS, which makes sense because it's a popular exhaust. If it's the sound you want, it's a great sound.
Also, low windshield washer fluid light is not the same as VDC off light.
 
low wiper fluid=hit a small deer and it dented the lower part of bumper and busted the reservoir. never use it so never fixed/replaced it.

you can hear it at cruising speed but only with radio down. i like hearing it. i will do a out of car video soon.

at high rpms i hear the intake more than the exhaust-so that may be what the sound is at high rpms.

i think the xo2s actually have a brand stamped somewhere right?? i have no clue what brand this is. prob a copy of xo2/hks/etc

i found some 4" and 5" long chrome tips for diesel trucks for $35-40 that will slide over this & extend out with a rolled chrome edge

It's pretty cool consdering how much aftermarket exhausts for the FX costs. I noticed a little bit of drone (when cruising) and rasp (at higher rpms) but as said before it may be due to the camera mic instead of the exhaust.

Nicely done, and get those tips extended at a muffler shop (cut and weld in some pipe)...don't put on those diesel clamp ons!
 
out of car sound. been raining all the time here. and the engine was already warm-just got to my school.

not sure on tips yet, if i extend the current ones the pipe wont match in color. you can get weld on tips aslo-that was just a quick picture.

let's get some film of it in motion...1st to 2nd pull maybe? :tongue:

and....is the exhaust rattling or do you have a leak? when you let off the gas it sounds fluttery.......
 
I'd say the fizzzz sound on the tail end of down beat is an exhaust leak but it's delicate, so something close to the muffler perhaps?
 
Can someone please explain to me the muffler at the back????

The top portion just dead-ends into a chamber! WTF?
