DVD Check Disc error message

I am a newbie with a FX 45 2006. My DVD Player displays a check disc error message whenever I try to play a CD. Anyone else familiar with this problem?:frown:
 
i did have this problem back in 2007, dealer had to
change my unit.. They told back then that there were few units that had this problem, check disk error..
