Duplicate keying limits

Hey guys and gals...I was wondering if anyone knew how many keys can be programmed for the FX. I purchased some spare keys so I and my wife can have one and also have a spare. The locksmith I spoke with said that the computer would only allow two keys to be programmed. Anyone have evidence supporting or disputing this claim?

Good question! I only got one key when I bought my FX. I need to get more made. I'll watch this thread for answers.

The remote keyless entry system has a maximum of 5 keys.
The intelligence key system as has maximum of 4 keys.

Hmm, maybe he didn't have the FSM memorized? Not that I have... just a little closer to the FX

LOL, I hear ya...just figured that they would know if they are going to be in the business of providing the service. It is a small shop so I guess I should give him the benefit of the doubt. Thanks again for the correspondence.

Where did you get your extra keys from? I lost one of my key fobs and I wanted to get a replacement.
