DTRLs no longer work

Hey all

so i was replacing my dtrls with new leds. I turned off lights, plugged in one side and turn on lights. That side lit up fine. I plugged in the other side, turned on lights and nada. I tried reversing the way i put in the led with no sucess. With lights on, i pulled out the led and both dtrls (the working and non working one) have stopped working. I replaced the leds with the OEM bulbs and still nothing turns on. I've checked the fuse under the battery cover listed as "dtrl" fuse 10A and it looks fine. I swapped it with another 10A fuse and that did not fix the problem

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what i did... and how to fix it...

btw weater was a light mist if that may have been a factor

EDIT: I just checked... when my lights are 'on' the brake lights dont turn on. When i press the brakes then the brake lights come on... maybe theres a fuse i cant find.. argh

my Driver side goes in and out (hmmmm, in-and-out:wub all the time. The connection is losse on mine. I think others have similar issues. Try reposisioning the wires on the bulb. Also, make sure the bulbs work on the other side.

update:

fixed the problem... found the 'hidden' fuse box after removing passenger side lower window molding. Found a thread with pics on the org after reading one of doc's posts about this hidden fuse box.

all is well now! :D

so did you have any problems with the dash board?
many people who had the problems with DTRL also had the problems with dashboard and parking light. For you was it just DTRL and the parking light?
Im asking b/c im having the similar problem. My dashboard works just fine but having a problem with the DTRL. Let me know!

my dashboard works fine

heres a list of things that did not work with fuse 71 blown

- license plate lights
- rear red led brake lights when brakes are NOT pressed
- DTRLS
