Hey All,

Quick question, I just managed to tear off the interior pull handle on my driver side door, breaking some of the plastic that that bolts the pull handle onto the door. I removed two visible screws/nuts (Top & bottom) but the remaining plastic pieces attached to the door, still wont budge. Are there any write-ups/documentation on how to remove and replace a pull handle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a screw on the backside of the door grip that attach it to the door interior trim panel. You'll have to remove the door interior trim panel from the door in order to access this screw from the backside of the door trim panel.

Thanks la_fx35! Is there a DIY/how to write-up on removing the interior trim panel? I don't want to destroy the door more than I have.

I don't recall there any official DIY on removing the door panel.

From what I have gathered:
1) Pry and remove the inside door lock handle escutcheon with a plastic trim removal tool or small flathead screw driver wrapped with rag.
2) Remove the bolt behind the escutcheon.
3) Pry from the bottom of the door grip handle cap and remove.
4) Remove the two bolts (top & bottom).
5) Pull the door panel from the bottom and near the hing to release the 12 clips around the panel.

Thanks again, la_fx35! I should have the part in a couple days and will give it a shot. Will let you know how it goes.
