Driver seat poll

I was wonder if we could start a poll for 1st and 2nd gen Fx's and their issues with the clicking and rocking of the seat. maybe one of the moderators can help me with this.
 
brought it to the dealer and told them the seat makes a clicking sound when it moves forward and back. they replaced the unit under the seat. they took the seat part off the old unit and had to put it together again on the new unit. smooth now. they had my car for a day and a half. :smug:
 
Common problem due to a plastic gear starting to wear under the seat. Several threads have been started about this - it is possible to replace only the worn gear, but the dealership won't do it - they will replace the whole slider assembly. If you can get the dealership to do the work on warranty, great. But otherwise they quoted me about $800 to remove and replace the entire slider assembly under the seat.
